Q: What makes trail riding in Squamish so special? A: The variety. You can go from rooty, technical singletrack that demands precision to fast, flowy sections where you just let the brakes go. It's a constant test of speed, agility, and nerve.

Q: How do you balance performance with comfort on multi-hour rides? A: Layers and tech fabrics. Merino wool base layers are non-negotiable for temperature regulation. But mostly, it's about fit. If your gear bunches, chafes, or restricts your movement, you're losing focus. I prioritize gear that disappears once I start riding.

Q: What's one essential non-gear item you never hit the trail without? A: A sense of humor. You're going to crash. You're going to misjudge a line. You're going to get a flat tire three miles from the car. The only way to keep going is to laugh, fix it, and remember why you're out there.
